GigaQualify Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Updated 5 October 2026
What this policy covers
Giga Techspace Inc. operates the GigaQualify marketing website at www.gigaqualify.com. This policy covers cookies and similar technologies on that website, including tags and local storage. The website's choices are stored locally and are not automatically shared with the application at app.gigaqualify.com or the separate gigatechspace.com website. Visiting the marketing website is separate from participating in a candidate interview.
Categories and purposes
Strictly necessary: technologies needed for security and remembering your privacy choices. Application sign-in and session cookies serve the application separately; signing in does not itself authorize optional analytics or advertising.
Functional: optional storage for preferences and enhanced features, such as language or interface choices.
Analytics: measurements of pages and interactions, used to improve the website and understand interest in GigaQualify. We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. When analytics storage is allowed, Google's cookies, typically named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, distinguish browsers and visits using pseudonymous identifiers.
Marketing: optional storage and permissions for campaign measurement, advertising audiences and personalization. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are denied everywhere until you allow this category. No Google Ads tags or advertising audiences are enabled for this website at launch.
Some technologies are provided by Giga Techspace and others by service providers such as Google LLC. Our Website Privacy Policy describes the information, providers and your rights.
Regional defaults
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Quebec, Turkey, Andorra, Gibraltar and Jersey: functional, analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. Optional cookies are not read or written by the Google tags until you allow the corresponding category.
Other regions, including the rest of Canada and the United States: analytics storage is allowed by default; functional and marketing storage stay denied until you allow them. Google applies these regional defaults based on the location of the connection when its tag loads.
The same banner lets you accept all optional cookies, keep essential cookies only or choose individual categories. A saved choice applies on later visits unless Global Privacy Control requires the opt-out below. You can reopen the controls at any time using Cookie Settings, also available in the website footer.
Measurement when optional cookies are off
The website uses advanced Google Consent Mode. Google tags load before you choose and can continue sending limited measurements without analytics or advertising cookies when the corresponding storage is denied. This includes page and event information, browser and device information, timestamps and consent status. Google also receives the IP address needed for the network connection. These signals can support aggregate reporting and modelling.
Selecting “Essential cookies only” or using Global Privacy Control therefore disables optional storage and advertising permissions; it does not block every measurement request to Google. Cookies already stored in your browser may remain until they expire or you delete them, while Google tags are instructed not to read or write the denied categories.
Global Privacy Control and browser controls
If your browser enables Global Privacy Control (GPC), the website applies and remembers an opt-out of all optional storage, advertising user data and ad personalization, even if you accepted earlier. Optional choices remain off while the signal is enabled. Turning GPC off does not restore an older permission; you can make a new choice in Cookie Settings. Because the signal already supplies your choice, we do not automatically show the banner again.
We store website preferences under giga-cookie-consent in local storage so you do not have to repeat your choice on every visit. Browser settings can clear this preference and block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies alone does not stop measurement without cookies. The Google Analytics opt-out add-on can prevent Google Analytics from collecting visit information in supported browsers. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent features such as application login from working.
